What We Collect
When you subscribe to prayer time reminders, we collect the information you provide: your email address, and optionally your phone number and home address. We also store your masjid and prayer preferences.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to send you prayer time reminders for the masjids and prayers you selected. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your home address, if provided, is used only to calculate leave-by times.
SMS Messages
If you subscribe to SMS reminders, you consent to receive automated text messages at the phone number you provided. Message frequency varies based on the number of prayers you select (up to 6 messages per day per masjid). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply START to re-subscribe.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase. SMS messages are sent through Twilio. Email reminders are sent through Amazon SES. We retain your information for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, we mark your account as inactive but may retain records for operational purposes.
Email Reminders
Email reminders are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). When you subscribe, we send a verification email to confirm your address. Each reminder email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Email send logs (subject, status, and timestamp) are retained for 90 days for debugging purposes; the email content itself is not stored.
Your Rights
You may unsubscribe from email reminders using the one-click unsubscribe link in any reminder email. You may unsubscribe from SMS reminders at any time by replying STOP. To request deletion of your data, please contact us at the email below.
